MATCH PREVIEW

Bristol Rovers v Crawley Town
Sky Bet League Two, The Memorial Stadium, Saturday 11 April 2026, 12:30pm KO

Bristol Rovers will be looking to secure their sixth straight victory in Sky Bet League Two when they welcome Crawley Town to The Memorial Stadium.

The Pirates have been on an impressive run and claimed their fifth successive league victory for the first time since March 2016 with a comeback triumph over Harrogate Town on Monday. Ellis Taylor had twice given the Sulphurites the lead, but his goals were cancelled out by efforts from Shaq Forde and Ellis Harrison before the latter struck the winner from the penalty spot.

The Gas now return to The Mem, which has been the foundation of their success under Steve Evans. The Pirates have won seven out of their last eight matches at home, with over 10,000 Gasheads packed into The Mem to watch the win over Fleetwood Town on Good Friday.

As for Crawley, they lost 2-0 at home to Grimsby Town in their previous outing, with Jaze Kabia and Harvey Rodgers scoring in the first half for the Mariners before Jay Williams was shown a straight red card soon after the break.

Opposition...

Crawley were relegated from Sky Bet League One last season and would have had aspirations of an immediate return to the third tier with promotion this campaign, but have been battling towards the bottom of the table.

The Red Devils parted ways with former manager Scott Lindsey in March after a 10-game winless run left them just one point and two places above the relegation zone. However, they have shown signs of improvement under new head coach Colin Kazim-Richards.

The 39-year-old, who played as a forward for teams such as Derby County, Brighton and Sheffield United, moved to the club after being part of Arsenal's youth set-up.

He made an immediate impact, with stoppage-time goals from Taylor Richards and Tobi Adeyemo helping Crawley to a 2-0 victory over Gillingham in his first fixture in charge. Kazim-Richards then made it back-to-back triumphs at the helm with a 1-0 victory over Newport County before losing to promotion hopefuls Grimsby on Monday.

Nevertheless, two wins in three matches have pushed Crawley up to 20th position, four points above the drop zone.
