Bristol Rovers v Cheltenham Town,

Gloucestershire FA County Cup, Everyone’s Energy Kayte Lane, Sunday 15th February, 14:00 pm

Bristol Rovers Women head on the road again this weekend as they turn their attention to GFA Cup action, travelling to face Tier Three side Cheltenham Town.

The Gas Girls go into the fixture full of confidence after securing their third win of 2026 last weekend, claiming an impressive 3-0 victory away at Bournemouth Sports.

Rovers made the perfect start, taking an early lead through record appearance holder Layah Douglas. Her driven effort across the goalkeeper found the bottom corner to get her first goal of the season and put the Gas in front.

Chloe Snook doubled the advantage before the half-time whistle. After a Sports corner was cleared, Annys Turner sprinted down the pitch and delivered a perfect ball to an unmarked Snook, who calmly finished to make it 2-0.

The third and final goal came from TG Gauvain. Meeting an Abbey Hately corner, she powered a header into the back of the net to seal a convincing away victory.

With momentum on their side, Rovers will be looking to carry that strong form into this weekend’s Cup clash against Cheltenham Town.
