Bristol Rovers v Bromley
Sky Bet League Two, The Memorial Stadium, Friday 26th December 2025, 3pm KO
Steve Evans will take charge of his first home fixture as Head Coach of Bristol Rovers when the Gas welcome Bromley to The Memorial Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.
The 63-year-old joined Rovers last week and led Rovers to a 1-1 draw away at Crewe Alexandra on Friday night. The Railwaymen broke the deadlock through Emre Tezgel, but the Gas responded almost immediately, with Callum Morton netting three minutes later on his first start.
Crewe went down to ten men when Adrien Thibaut was shown a straight red card, but the points were shared, ending the Pirates' ten-game losing run in the fourth tier.
The Gas now return to The Mem for their final two fixtures of 2025, facing Bromley before coming up against Barnet, looking for their first home win since the end of September.
Bromley are in fine form and beat Grimsby Town 2-0 in their last outing, with Will Hondermarck scoring either side of half-time.

Opposition...
There are not many teams in the entire EFL that are in better form than Bromley at this moment in time. Since losing 2-1 away to Cambridge United in October, the Ravens have won seven of their eight matches in Sky Bet League Two, pushing them from 13th to third in the table, just one point behind Swindon Town and Walsall, who are first and second, respectively.
Andy Woodman's team have consistently picked up points throughout the 2025/26 campaign, with their only slight drop being when they claimed one win from seven matches. However, Bromley quickly made up for lost time with the inspired run of form they are on now.
Bromley gained promotion to Sky Bet League Two for the first time in their history back in the 2023/24 season. After an 11th-place finish last term, they seem to have even loftier ambitions for what they could achieve this campaign.
Rovers will have to be aware of Michael Cheek, who scored 25 goals last term and is on nine for the campaign so far, with Mitch Pinnock leading the assist ranks in the league with eight.
Previous Meetings...
This will be the first-ever league meeting between Rovers and Bromley, with the three games between the two teams appearing in the Emirates FA Cup. The most recent duel was at the CopperJaxCommunity Stadium earlier this term, with Fabrizio Cavegn and Joel Cotterill scoring in a 2-1 victory for the Pirates.
The other two fixtures both came in the 2019/20 campaign. After a goalless draw at The Mem, Jonson Clarke-Harris scored the only goal in the replay to send Rovers to the second round of the competition.
