Simply put, Darrell Clarke is looking for a reaction from his Bristol Rovers side ahead of their Sky Bet League Two match against Tranmere Rovers at The Memorial Stadium.
The Pirates fell to a disappointing 4-0 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons in their last outing, with three late goals in the final stages from Paul Warne's men handing Rovers a heavy loss. Back-to-back losses in the fourth tier have stopped the Gas' positive momentum, with the club previously unbeaten in eight matches across all competitions, earning five wins in Sky Bet League Two in that time.
However, as Clarke pointed out when speaking to the media, Rovers have only lost two of their previous 11 matches, with one positive result enough to turn the tide for the Pirates once again.
Clarke also reflected on the week of training and formation changes before previewing the Gas' upcoming clash against Tranmere.

LOOKING FOR A REACTION
"I’m happy with what I’ve seen on the training ground. I don’t want to put Saturday in the bin. I had a bad day, my players had a bad day, it’s as simple as that, but it’s how we react on Saturday.
"I think for context, it’s two defeats in 11 games, with a lot of wins in there as well. So, we have to look at the bigger picture, and we have to bounce back on Saturday. So, we’re looking forward to it.
"It’s a process of working with a group. Things don’t happen quickly. There are always going to be speed bumps in the road. There is always going to be disappointments through the course of the season, and it’s always how you react to that.
"We’ve been fully focused; we review it on Monday and put it to bed. I hold accountability for it, not a problem. The boys responded well in the training week, so we look forward to tomorrow's game."
THE MODERN-DAY GAME
"The modern-day game is a minefield now with social media and the reactions. You have just got to stay strong with it, adapt to it and just get on with it, to be honest with you, because the next result is always just around the corner, and you just focus on that. It’s something I’ve done for the 700 games I’ve nearly managed now. I just focus on the next game. The disappointment of Saturday will soon be forgotten if we can put on a good performance tomorrow.
"You go and do the leadership things, and you go on all of these seminars, and everything tells you about how you need to build things. It takes time to build cultures and environments, but the reality is that in the football world, you have to win and you have to win quickly. So, there is no point crying about it. It’s not going anywhere. I don’t think it’s right, I never thought it was right.
"You see managers up and down the country under pressure in two or three months. It gets borderline ridiculous, but that’s the nature of the beast, and we know what we take on in this role. We’ve got to win football games. It doesn't matter what your budget is or what club you’re at. I say this to a lot of head coaches and managers; you can have as many coping mechanisms as you want in this modern-day game. You just have to win, and there is no hiding behind that fact."

FORMATIONS
"If you look at it in context, we have picked up some results when we have changed to a three [in defence], but as a back four, the group has shown flexibility within the course of that. I have to look at it and think about what worked; we assess it and move on. It will be interesting to see how we go further afield.
"There are different options that the squad can do. They have been pretty flexible with that. Maybe we need a little bit more consistency in what we’re working on. I think that will help the group, and we’ll see what tomorrow brings."
TRANMERE ROVERS PREVIEW
"I think we all know how competitive the league is. They are not on a great run, but no disrespect, like I said last week, and like I say most weeks, we respect the opposition, but it’s what we do. We performed pretty badly in our last home game, and we want to put in a performance for our home fans so that we can get on that positive train again."
