Crowe, Pashen and Burns join Men’s First Team staff

Bristol Rovers are pleased to confirm three new appointments to the Men’s First Team operation.

Gavin Crowe joins the Gas as the new Head Of Medical And Performance. Crowe moves to The Memorial Stadium after ten years working with Cheltenham Town, rising to Head Of Medical with the Robins, and previously worked with Head Coach Darrell Clarke in their time together at EV Charger Points Stadium.

Sam Pashen also joins Rovers as Lead Strength And Conditioning Coach. Pashen has previously worked with Cardiff City and Bristol City in strength and conditioning roles, as well as time spent with Cardiff Metropolitan University and Bath College.

Kyler Burns completes the trio of new appointments, joining the Pirates as Lead Sports Scientist. Burns also moves to Rovers from Cheltenham, where he was Lead Physical Performance Coach, and previously worked with Swindon Town and Dundee United in their respective Sports Science departments.

Crowe, Pashen and Burns will provide support and insight to the footballing department, comprised of Head Coach Clarke, Assistant Head Coaches Jon Stead and Rhys Carr, and Head Of Goalkeeping James Bittner.

Everyone at Bristol Rovers warmly welcomes Gavin, Sam and Kyler to the Club, and would also like to express our thanks to Tom Short, Joe Short and Greg Short for their efforts following their departures from their respective roles.
