Bristol Rovers is delighted to announce that Darrell Clarke has been nominated for the September Sky Bet League Two Manager Of The Month Award.
The Pirates enjoyed a successful September under Clarke, going unbeaten and collecting three wins and one draw from their four outings. Rovers opened the month with a 3-2 victory, with Luke Thomas netting a brace and Ellis Harrison heading in before the Gas won 2-1 against Barrow at The Memorial Stadium.
Rovers then collected a draw against Colchester United, with Fabrizio Cavegn scoring to help the Club earn their seventh point from three away fixtures before completing the month with a comeback win over Salford City.
Matt Butcher had given the Ammies the lead before strikes from Ellis Harrison and Cavegn gave Rovers the lead. Salford had a late penalty to bring the score level, but Luke Southwood made a fantastic stop to help Rovers claim all three points.
