Cavegn nominated for September PFA League Two Fans’ Player of the Month.

Bristol Rovers is delighted to announce that Fabrizio Cavegn has been nominated for the September PFA League Two Fans’ Player of the Month.

The striker had a stellar month, scoring in three successive matches in the fourth tier. Cavegn struck the second goal in Rovers' 2-1 victory over Barrow, thumping in from close range before netting again against Colchester United.

The attacker raced onto Alfie Chang's pass and thumped his strike past Tom Smith in a 1-1 draw. Cavegn then got his third in September against Salford, slotting a low shot through Matthew Young's legs to help Rovers come from behind to claim a comeback victory at The Memorial Stadium.

Also up for the award are Oldham Athletic's Donervon Daniels, Fleetwood Town's Jordan Davies, Swindon Town's Aaron Drinan, Walsall's Daniel Kanu and Chesterfield's Liam Mandeville.
