The Blue Diamond Club is holding its Christmas lunch at The Bristol Pavilion, Gloucestershire Cricket Club, on Thursday 18 December.
The organisation was set up nine years ago with the aim of fostering the spirit of Fellowship and Goodwill among retired supporters of Bristol Rovers Football Club and to promote social activities such as luncheons for retired supporters, their families and friends.
This enjoyable social event gives fans a chance to catch up with friends, make new ones and help the organisation via a raffle, with funds donated to worthy charities.
This time, the Blue Diamond Club are supporting Operation Community Hamper, a project started in 2020 by Charlotte Churchill in her front room, working with 19 families.
Proving to be such a success, Operation Community Hamper became a registered charity helping over 1200 families, with the emphasis on Christmas Hampers and gifts for whole families. Charlotte and her volunteer helpers deserve support for the valuable work they undertake, and Charlotte will be in attendance to tell everyone more.
