The Sportsman & Annexe, located just off Gloucester Road, is well-known for its pizzas and the addition of the ‘NA16’ to the menu is sure to go down well with Gasheads, whilst raising valuable funds for Nick Anderton in his fight against cancer.
With the ‘Joey Barton’ pizza already on offer at the venue, the ‘NA16’ is loaded with chicken, bacon pepperoni and cheese on a BBQ base, as chosen by Nick himself.
Even better is the news that The Sportsman & Annexe is giving a slice of its profits back to the club – for every ‘NA16’ pizza they sell, 50p will go to the Sarcoma UK charity, which raises funds towards the care of those, like Nick, diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.
Manager Ashley Bird said: “We hope that the ‘NA16’ pizza will prove to be popular and raises lots of money for the Sarcoma UK charity. Home and away fans are all welcome at The Sportsman & Annexe. We will be serving our Sports Menu, which will include both the ‘NA16’ and the ‘Joey Barton’ pizza, on matchdays from 12pm.”
The Sportsman & Annexe is part of an independent 14-strong pub estate called Wickwar Wessex Pub Company. For menus and more, visit their website at https://sportsmanbristol.com/
