9.12.23 SOuth STand

Bristol Rovers Football Club would like to take this opportunity to update supporters on the South Stand development progress.

The club is pleased to announce that it has now concluded the outstanding requirements to finalise the planning application and the planning permission issued to the club yesterday.

The works to complete the stand are ongoing and we hope these will be concluded in the coming weeks, this includes the groundworks around the stand and the fit-out of the concourse area.

As soon as the building work is complete, the club is required to conclude the building control process sign-off. Following this, the club will be eligible to apply for a new Grounds Safety Certificate at the new capacity.

At this point, the club will be permitted to commence its test events utilising the entire stand.

As a temporary solution, we have secured permission to use limited sections of the stands that are not reliant on the concourse section of the development.

The club acknowledges that home season ticket holders in the South Stand have experienced a delay in receiving their tickets for the Cheltenham fixture today, we apologise for this delay and can now confirm they have been sent.

The club would like to thank its ticket office and maintenance staff for all their hard work in helping to achieve this as well as the support offered by Bristol City Council.
