Rovers will welcome Barnsley this Saturday to the Mem for their first home game of the 2023/24 season.
Barnsley will come into the game in high spirits after beating Port Vale 7-0 in their season opener, putting them at the top of the table after game week one.
Rovers were unable to seal an opening-day victory down at Fratton Park after conceding in the 92nd minute to end the game at 1-1.
Last season's fixture at the Mem saw a goalless draw.
