Familiar Faces

Liam Sercombe and Ryan Broom are the two former Rovers players who currently ply their trade for Cheltenham. Sercombe signed for Rovers in 2017 and made his debut on the opening day of the season in a 1-0 defeat against Charlton Athletic. While at Rovers, Sercombe played 127 games, scoring 19 goals across all competitions.

Ryan Broom came through the academy ranks at Rovers before departing for Cheltenham in 2018. He joined the club in 2013 and graduated from the youth set-up in 2015. Ryan made his professional debut against Birmingham City in August 2015, coming on as a second-half substitute. He scored his first goals for the club during an EFL Trophy clash against Wycombe Wanderers in 2017. During his time at the Gas, Ryan made 12 appearances and scored two goals.

Samuel Barrott is the designated match official for Saturday's clash in Cheltenham. Referee Barrott has taken charge of seven League One games so far this season.
