Rovers Hold Special Event Under Concorde
Bristol Rovers held their end-of-season Awards Evening under the wings of Concorde at the Bristol Aerospace Museum on Sunday 8th May.
A bumper audience of 500 included staff, sponsors, 1883 Club members, invited guests and, of course, the team who had clinched promotion to League One the previous day with a stunning 7-0 win over Scunthorpe at The Memorial Stadium.
Hosted by BT Sport television personality Lynsey Hipgrave, the atmosphere on the evening was magical and those in attendance heard from coach Andy Mangan, manager Joey Barton and were even treated to an impromptu song from Nick Anderton!
The club's Head of Sales David Bright said: "It was a fabulous evening. Getting everyone back together after COVID under the same roof in an iconic venue was the icing on the cake of an amazing weekend."
Anyone who wants to be involved in the club as we enter League One should contact David at davidbright@bristolrovers.co.uk
