Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist at this year’s Football Business Awards in the Diversity and Inclusion category.
Club CEO Tom Gorringe said: "We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award. As a family club, celebrating and representing all aspects of our diverse city is really important to us. We strive to ensure that everyone visiting the stadium and interacting with the club feels welcome and a part of the Gas family, so being recognised in this area is testament to this. Once again, we are delighted to partner with the Bristol Rovers Community Trust on this project and together there are no limits on what we can achieve."
Community Trust chief Adam Tutton said: "We are thrilled to have been nominated for this award. Last season's kit launch was a perfect example of everything we do, and was designed to showcase our rich and diverse fanbase and promote our belief that Rovers is a welcoming place for all."
Head of Sales, David Bright, said: "It’s exciting to have been named as a finalist for an award like this. There is a lot of exciting work always taking place between the club and the Community Trust, and being named as a finalist in this category gives us the chance to shine a light on that partnership. We can’t wait for the event at the end of May."
A full list of finalists can be seen on the event website.
