Rovers welcome Barrow to BS7 in our latest mid-week league test.
Rovers' latest test in the Sky Bet League Two comes in the form of Mark Cooper's Barrow. Rovers drew the reverse fixture at The Dunes Hotel Stadium with Sam Nicholson opening the scoring for Rovers in the 44th minute before Ollie Banks equalised deep into first-half stoppage time. Below is all the need to know info ahead of tomorrow's clash at The Mem.
Manager's Preview
Rovers boss, Joey Barton has said that a clean sheet will be the main focus going in Tuesday's game at The Mem. The manager also said that every point picked up will be vital from now until the end of the season.
"Every point is going to be valuable from now until the end of the season. If we can't win every game then we must make sure that we don't lose. You always try and get three points, that's what the aim is. To do that you have to score goals, we managed to do that on Saturday but on the other side of that, you have to keep them out at the other end.
We were certainly comfortably for long long periods at the weekend against another side near the top of the division but again we didn't manage to keep that clean sheet and get the shut out. If we had we would be sitting with two more points and a different feel after Saturday's clash."
