Born in Portsmouth in April 2000, Tommy Leigh came through Pompey's academy before being released at 16.
The midfielder got his first experience of senior football in non-league with Horndean, Baffins Milton Rovers and Bognor Regis Town before making a move to the Football League in July 2021, signing for then Sky Bet League One outfit Accrington Stanley for an undisclosed fee. He made his debut for Stanley in August of the same year, coming off the bench against Cambridge United and went on to make 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals.
Leigh played 120 times for Acccy across all competitions in three seasons at the club, earning their Player of the Season award for the 2022/23 campaign. He showed his attacking ability from midfield with 28 goals and ten assists and moved to Milton Keynes Dons in June 2024.
The 25-year-old scored once in 17 appearances before making a permanent transfer to Bradford City in 2025, helping the Bantams claim promotion to Sky Bet League One. Leigh has made 23 appearances across all competitions this term, starting ten times in the third tier, with his only goal coming in a 3-1 victory over Cardiff City.
