Player Biography

Born in London in 2005, Yusuf Akhamrich has progressed through the academy ranks at Spurs and has impressed at every level. The winger netted 25 goals for their U16s outfit in the 2021/22 season.

The 20-year-old then helped the U17s and U18s claim the Premier League Cup double in his first year as a full-time scholar. Akhamrich featured for Spurs' U21s side for the first time towards the end of the 2023/24 term, with the Lilywhites lifting the Premier League 2 title.

After impressing at the academy level, he signed his first professional contract with the club in early 2024 and stepped up to the U21s level on a full-time basis in the 2024/25 season. Last term, he scored five goals in 20 appearances in the Premier League 2, netting an impressive hat-trick in a 6-1 triumph over Middlesbrough.

The Morocco U20 international has featured in Spurs' first-team squad three times this season, first appearing on the bench for their Champions League fixture against FC Copenhagen.

Akhamrich was also an unused substitute in their Premier League fixture against Manchester United in November and again in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.
