Bristol Rovers Football Club hosted its first ever Pirates' Crew Takeover Day on Saturday 11 April 2026, our home fixture against Crawley Town.
Six young fans accompanied staff members as they carried out their matchday roles:
- Jack Mason - First Team Head Coach
- JK Mcauley and Sofia Langley - First Team Players
- Hugo Osborne - Groundsperson
- James Stone - Media Officer
- Henry Brock - Stadium Announcer
Our junior team got the chance to go behind the scenes on a matchday, visiting areas such as the home changing room, manager's office and press box.
They had a go at important matchday tasks, including painting the penalty spots, announcing the starting lineups over the tannoy, partaking in the player warm ups, filming matchday content and conducting pre-match interviews with local journalists.
