Steve Evans has named a Bristol Rovers side aiming to make history this afternoon, with a win at The Memorial Stadium set to secure an 11th consecutive home league victory — a new club record.
Club captain Alfie Kilgour returns to league action for the first time this season, leading a three-man defence alongside Kofi Balmer and Ciaran Kelly. On the flanks, Jack Sparkes comes in, with Tom James operating on the opposite side to provide width and balance.
In midfield, Ritchie Smallwood and Clinton Mola anchor the centre of the pitch, looking to supply Shaq Forde, who will look to combine with Fabrizio Cavegn and Ellis Harrison.
There is a boost on the bench as Charlton Athletic loanee Keenan Gough returns to the matchday squad after recovering from injury.
