Steve Evans was delighted with Bristol Rovers' performance against Sky Bet League One side Cambridge United after the Gas claimed a 2-0 Emirates FA Cup win.
The Pirates were looking to get back to winning ways after losing five of their previous six league fixtures against a team in the division above, and after the U's got off to a bright start, the Gas dominated.
Reiss Russell-Denny and Fabrizio Cavegn scored to help Rovers progress into the Second Round Proper, with Evans praising the team and individual performances.
Speaking to BRTV after the game, Evans also applauded the players' hard work during the week, which helped the club to an eighth straight First Round Proper victory.
