Steve Evans knows Bristol Rovers need to get back to winning ways after the Gas lost 2-1 to Sky Bet League Two leaders Salford City.
The Ammies took an early lead through Brendan Wiredu's spectacular strike within six minutes, before Daniel Udoh's close-range effort gave the visitors a two-goal lead before half-time.
Rovers needed to find a way back into the contest after the break and improved across the pitch. Ellis Harrison thundered the bar from the penalty spot before Jack Sparkes got one back with a curled free-kick into the bottom corner. The Gas pushed for a leveller but could not find one and fell to a fifth consecutive league defeat.
Speaking to the media after the fixture, Evans reflected on the performance and the need for a triumph after a tough run of results.
