Bristol Rovers can confirm that Luke Southwood has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for two upcoming friendly fixtures in June.
Southwood featured 27 times for the Gas across all competitions in the 2025/26 season, with 22 coming in Sky Bet League Two, and will be looking to add a second cap to his name after making his debut for his country against Luxembourg on March 25 2022.
Northern Ireland will first face Guinea on Thursday 4 June at the Estadio Ciudad de La Línea, La Línea de la Concepción, in the Province of Cádiz, Spain, with kick-off at 5pm (GMT).
The Green and White Army will then face a tough test when they take on France at the Decathlon Arena Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille Métropole on Thursday 8 June, with kick-off at 8:10pm.
Everyone at Bristol Rovers would like to congratulate Luke on his call-up and wish him every success on the international stage.
