Families staying at the Children’s Hospice at Charlton Farm got a Christmas surprise as members of the Bristol Rovers Men's First Team came for a visit.
Fabrizio Cavegn, Kamil Conteh, Joel Cotterill, Shaq Forde, Alfie Kilgour, Freddie Issaka, Kacper Lopata, Taylor Moore, Ruel Sotiriou, Josh McEachran, Callum Morton and Jack Sparkes met the children and families at the hospice to gift presents and take photos, making special memories at Christmas, whilst also taking a tour of the facility.
The team delivered a gaming chair and games - paid for by the Bristol Rovers first-team squad and coaching staff - to add extra Christmas joy and make the day even more memorable.
The players spent valuable time with the children and their families, taking pictures, signing posters and playing games.
Charlton Farm supports families who face the emotional and physical strain of caring for children who, sadly, are not expected to live into adulthood. This does not make Charlton Farm a sad place. Instead, it is a place of love, happiness and friendship, where challenges are faced together.
