Bristol Rovers can confirm a change in kick-off time for our home Sky Bet League Two fixture against Newport County.
The Pirates will host the Exiles at The Memorial Stadium in our first league contest of the 2026/27 campaign, on Saturday 22 August 2026, with kick-off now scheduled for 12.30pm BST.
The Severn Bridge derby will mark an exciting start to the season in BS7 for Steve Evans’ side, who will be eager to make a fast start to the new campaign.

Rovers did the double over Newport County in the 2025/26 season, beating the Exiles 3-2 at Rodney Parade in September thanks to goals from Luke Thomas and Ellis Harrison, while also getting a 3-0 victory at The Mem in January; loanee Yusuf Akhamrich scoring twice while Fabrizio Cavegn completed the win late on.
