Meet your Bristol Rovers Supporter Consultation Group

fans in attendance at The Mem

Bristol Rovers is delighted to introduce the members of the first iteration of the Supporter Consultation Group.

Following a rigorous application process, eight representatives have been appointed to the SCG and will work closely with the Club to provide insightful feedback on plans and initiatives.

The representatives will also collate observations from the wider Bristol Rovers fanbase to share with the Club’s Senior Leadership Team.

A first meeting of the Supporter Consultation Group was held at The Memorial Stadium at the end of April where the new representatives met for the first time.

The minutes of that first meeting can be viewed here.

The next meeting will be held in late May.

Introducing your new Bristol Rovers Supporter Consultation Group…

Anthony Cockayne

Season Ticket Holders Representative

"I have been following Bristol Rovers for over 45 years and I have fond memories of the North Enclosure at Eastville and the Twerton days!

"I am currently a Season Ticket Holder in the East Stand. When I am not watching the Gas I will be on the touchline of either a hockey or football pitch supporting my daughters' sporting endeavours."

“I am Lucy, I am a third-generation Gashead and I follow the Gas both home and away. There is nothing I would rather be doing at 3pm on a Saturday than following Rovers.”

Martin Hudd

Supporters Club Representative

"I have been supporting Bristol Rovers since 1977 and have also been a Season Ticket Holder for many years. I also travel to all away matches to cheer on the Gas.

"I currently sit as Vice-Chairman on the Bristol Rovers Supporters Club committee and, along with a colleague, I am responsible for the organisation and smooth running of away travel for our Supporters Club members."

Nicola Kumi

Family & Juniors Representative

"I first watched Rovers with my dad back in the days when we were playing at Twerton Park. Following the move to the Mem, I stood with a group of mates from school in the then-Blackthorn End. I now stand in the West Terrace with my family.

"My children are nine and five and I am joining the SCG for them, to represent our young supporters. I strongly believe that more needs to be done for the next generation of Gasheads.”

Gary Brindle

Senior Supporters Representative

"I am now in my 63rd year of following Rovers, after being taken by my Dad to my first Rovers game at Eastville when I was five-years old. I have been a keen sportsman my entire life and I have followed Rovers through thick and thin.

"All of my family are Gasheads and my Grandson regularly attends home games with my wife and myself. While my other grandchildren are a little young at the moment, there is only one team they will follow!"
