Meet The Officials | Notts County (H)

Ed Duckworth

Experienced referee Edward Duckworth will officiate Bristol Rovers' Sky Bet League Two fixture against Notts County at The Memorial Stadium.

Duckworth has refereed three Rovers fixtures in his career, all during the 2024/25 campaign. The most recent of the trio was the Pirates' 3-2 defeat against Rotherham United at The Memorial Stadium back in March.

In comparison, he has only refereed two Notts fixtures. It has been some time since his last County match. It came in the 2023/24 season, where they beat Grimsby Town 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.

Duckworth has overseen 150 fixtures in his career, refereeing 39 matches in the National League North, where he has officiated the most. However, in recent times, he has refereed more regularly in Sky Bet League One.

This season, Duckworth has refereed 16 games across all competitions, appearing in the Sky Bet Championship, League One and Two and the Carabao Cup. His most recent match came in the Sky Bet League One, with Stevenage beating Peterborough United in midweek.

Duckworth has refereed four games in Sky Bet League Two this season, the last two ending 4-2 to Walsall and Fleetwood Town against Tranmere Rovers and Colchester United, respectively.

Alongside him will be assistant referees Scott Williams and Darren Wilding. Peter Lowe has been appointed as the fourth official.
