Meet The Officials | Accrington Stanley (A)

Sebastian Stockbridge

Experienced referee Sebastian Stockbridge will be officiating Bristol Rovers' trip to Accrington Stanley in Sky Bet League Two.

Stockbridge has refereed 331 league matches in the EFL, with 168 coming in Sky Bet League One and 163 coming in Sky Bet League Two. His career has also taken him to Iceland, refereeing two fixtures in the Lengja League in 2013, the second-highest division in the country.

He has refereed 16 fixtures in the 2025/26 season, with five coming in Sky Bet League Two. His last fixture in any competition came between Huddersfield Town and Plymouth Argyle last weekend, with the Terriers winning 3-1 at the the Accu Stadium in Sky Bet League One.

Stockbridge has already refereed the Pirates ten times in his career, with his first coming back in the 2013/14 season when the Pirates lost 2-1 to Morecambe away from home in Sky Bet League Two. His most recent Rovers fixture was earlier this campaign, with Fleetwood Town earning a 2-1 victory over Darrell Clarke's men.

Nevertheless, he has refereed more games, including Accrington. Stockbridge has been the man in the middle for 20 Accrington fixtures across five different competitions. However, he is yet to referee a game with them this term, with his last coming in the 2024/25 campaign when Stanley drew 3-3 with Tranmere Rovers.

Alongside him will be assistant referees Jacob Lehane and Matthew Parry. Tyler Dutton has been appointed as the fourth official.
