Bristol Rovers Women will aim to make it back-to-back league wins for the first time this season when they host league leaders Moneyfields on Sunday.
The Gas Girls are yet to win at home in the league this season, but claimed all three points on the road against Wycombe Wanderers most recently to take them to six points for the campaign.
W3 took the lead through Anaisa Harney, before goals from Helena Costa and Anais Trinci completed the turnaround before the break. Debutant Libby Davies then struck powerfully at the near post in second-half injury time to wrap up a brilliant away victory for her new side.
Last time out at home, Rovers were defeated 2-0 by Maidenhead United, and will face an equally tough test this time against a Moneyfields side with a 100% record across all competitions so far.

Opposition…
Moneyfields currently lead the way in Division One South West, sitting top of the table after four matches. Jack Randall’s side also have a perfect record in the FAWNL Cup, with two wins from two.
Moneys dispatched Maidenhead 4-0 on the road thanks to goals from Tierney Scott, captain Megan Fox, and a Kaylee Buckingham brace to kick the season off in perfect style.
The dream start continued at home with an equally convincing 5-1 win over Abingdon United. Rebekah Tonks opened the scoring in just the second minute before a rampant second half saw Olivia Venditto’s double, plus goals from Brittany Jeal and Fox, make it 5-0 by the 73rd minute.
With confidence flowing, Moneyfields took their form into the cup. Local rivals AFC Bournemouth lay in wait but were no match for the side a level below them, with the hosts making a statement 3-1 win against the Tier Three outfit.
A double-double from Buckingham and Fox then saw Moneyfields on their way to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Marine Academy Plymouth, before rounding off four consecutive home matches by beating Southampton U21’s 1-0 in the cup to keep them top of Group E.
Most recently, Moneys won on their travels too, coming from behind for the first time this season. Kylie Nolan’s 15th-minute effort threatened to end the unbeaten run, but an own goal leveller and Libby Hester’s second-half winner meant the turnaround was complete to keep the perfect record alive.
Last season ultimately ended in disappointment for Moneyfields, missing out on the league title on the final day to Swindon Town, and a week later suffering a penalty defeat to Norwich City in the promotion play-off.
But Moneys have started this season as they mean to go on, and will now face the Gas in their second of three successive away fixtures.
Last Season…
As noted, 2025/26 was a very good season for Moneys, although they finished devastatingly close to their goals. In total, they won 19 of their 22 league matches – bettered only by champions Swindon with 20, as both teams lost twice.
Sadly for the Gas, despite finishing fourth, they were hit by Moneys for nine goals to no reply across the season. The first encounter came in November and saw Shannon Albury’s first-half goal claim the points on the road.
When Moneyfields hosted Rovers in their penultimate home game, it was a different story. Albury grabbed a hat-trick on a day her side put eight past the visitors without conceding, going on to face the Robins three weeks later in the title decider.
