Bristol Rovers v Barnet
Sky Bet League Two, The Memorial Stadium, Saturday 10 October 2026, 3:00pm KO

Bristol Rovers will look to get back to winning ways as they welcome Barnet to The Memorial Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.

The Pirates have lost their previous two outings in all competitions, falling 3-1 to Crewe Alexandra in the fourth tier and 4-1 to Wycombe Wanderers in the Jersey Mike's Trophy, both away from home.

The Gas are now back at The Mem, where they have been excellent. Steve Evans' men have won their previous 11 home league fixtures, with their club-record run stretching back to February. Four of Rovers' five wins have been at The Mem, putting them fifth in the table.

Barnet have not played a Sky Bet League Two fixture in almost three weeks due to the international break, but played in the JerseyMike's Trophy on Tuesday night, drawing 0-0 with Wimbledon before winning 8-7 on penalties.

Opposition...

Barnet have been one of the best teams in Sky Bet League Two this campaign. The Bees have played in the league for almost three weeks. Nevertheless, their early-season form has put them second in the table, one point off league leaders Salford City, despite playing two fewer matches than the Ammies.

Dean Brennan's men have won four of their first seven fixtures this season and are one of only three teams that are still unbeaten this term. They started the campaign with an impressive 3-1 home triumph over Salford City before another 3-1 win, this time away at Shrewsbury Town.

Three straight draws followed before Barnet secured back-to-back victories over Accrington Stanley and Fleetwood Town. The Bees have scored 17 and conceded ten, with both teams netting in every game so far.

Barnet gained promotion to Sky Bet League Two last season and finished eighth on their return last campaign, with the north London side aiming for promotion this term. They have brought in plenty of Sky Bet League Two talent, adding centre-backs Will Wright and Zac Williams from Swindon Town and Crewe Alexandra, respectively and midfield duo Charlie Lakin and Brandon Comley from Walsall.

They have also made the most of the loan market, adding Matthew Cox and Damola Ajayi from the Premier League and Jake Reeves and Oisín Gallagher from the EFL.

Previous Meetings...

Rovers have lost four of their previous five matches against Barnet across all competitions, with their last victory over the Bees coming in August 2015 at The Mem.

Lee Brown and Jermaine Easter gave the Gas a two-goal advantage before Curtis Weston got one back for Barnet. However, Matty Taylor netted two minutes later to secure the victory.

Last season, Barnet completed the double over the Gas, winning 4-0 at The Hive before securing a 2-0 win at The Mem in late December.
