Bristol Rovers is pleased to welcome Keith Brookman back to The Memorial Stadium as Club Historian.
Brookman previously worked with the Gas for over two decades in the media department, editing the Official Matchday Programme and serving as the first port of call for external media outlets.
A lifelong Rovers fan, Brookman has continued to work closely with the Club in recent years and has now agreed to return to the Pirates in the Club Historian position.
In his new position, Brookman will work closely with the media, marketing and communications department and across the wider Club to ensure Bristol Rovers’ history and heritage is at the forefront, sharing his knowledge and records to inform content decisions in both the present and future.

Brookman said: “I am delighted to have been asked to be the Club Historian and once again have a role to play with Bristol Rovers.
“I’ve worked closely with the Club, specifically the media department, in recent months, and I am looking forward to my continued involvement moving forward.”
Head Of Media And Engagement Mitch Waddon said: “There are few people out there who possess a knowledge and understanding of Bristol Rovers quite like Keith.
“For almost 30 years he has dedicated himself to the Club in different roles, both employed and external. During my time with Rovers Keith has been an invaluable asset for the department, and it is a pleasure to welcome him back as Club Historian.”
