Bristol Rovers can confirm that Jed Ward has completed a permanent transfer to fellow Sky Bet League Two side Walsall for an undisclosed fee.
Ward came through the Pirates' Academy and made 42 appearances for the Gas across all competitions, winning Rovers' Young Player of the Year award in the 2023/24 campaign.
The shot-stopper spent last season on loan at National League outfit Yeovil Town, keeping 11 clean sheets in 46 appearances and winning the Players' and Supporters' Player of the Season award.
