Watch the highlights from Bristol Rovers' 1-0 loss to Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League Two.
The Shrews had the better of the early chances, with Will Boyle seeing a goal-bound effort blocked by Ciarán Kelly before Sam Stubbs directed a free header well wide of the left post.
Then, it was Rovers' turn to go close. Clinton Mola drilled his effort across goal and wide before Bobby Kamwa's shot from the heart of the box deflected over. There was nothing to separate the teams in the second half until Salop were awarded a penalty after Joe Quigley brought down Boyle.
George Lloyd blasted his spot-kick into the bottom corner before the Shrews had Jay Turner-Cooke and Isaac Fletcher sent off, but the hosts held onto all three points despite late pressure from the Gas.
