Ellis Harrison has been nominated for the April Sky Bet League Two Player Of The Month Award after netting six goals in five matches.
The striker got his first two goals against Harrogate Town in a five-goal thriller. With the Pirates 2-1 down, Harrison got on the end of Shaq Forde's deflected cross to score from close range before netting the winner from the penalty spot.
The 32-year-old then scored again in Rovers' next match, breaking the deadlock in a 3-1 win against Crawley Town at The Memorial Stadium after getting onto the end of Kofi Balmer's pass and finishing clinically.
Harrison then left his best outing until the final match of the month against Cheltenham Town, where he bagged his first hat-trick in the blue-and-white quarters since 2017. He scored his first goal within two minutes after getting into Jack Sparkes' corner, then netted his second header of the contest just before half-time.
Harrison completed his hat-trick after the break, spotting Joe Day off his line before chipping the ball over the goalkeeper from just inside Cheltenham's half.
