Fabrizio Cavegn made his mark on his return to the Bristol Rovers team, scoring the Gas' second goal in their 2-0 victory over Barrow in Sky Bet League Two.

The striker was one of three changes to the team that started the 2-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra in the fourth tier, with Steve Evans' alterations proving crucial.

Tommy Leigh, the hero against the Railwaymen, got the first with a clever finish before Cavegn doubled the Pirates' lead after the break. He got onto the end of Joel Senior's pass across convert from close range to net his 15th goal of the 2025/26 season, with 11 coming in the fourth tier.

It was Cavegn's first start since Rovers' defeat to Oldham, with the striker happy to help his team to their third victory in four games.
