The striker bagged his second just before half-time, heading into the top corner after the Robins failed to clear Kofi Balmer's long throw-in. He then completed his hat-trick in style, chipping a clever effort over the goalkeeper from range.
With a matter of minutes left to play, Manager Steve Evans moved into the Thatchers End and celebrated Rovers' fourth goal with the rest of the Gasheads. Tommy Leigh's cross was flicked on by Joe Quigley to Forde, who finished with composure to lift the roof off a packed Mem.
