Bristol Rovers will be ball number two in the 2025/26 Vertu Trophy Round Of 16 draw.
The draw will take place live on the Sky Sports EFL Show on Saturday 6 December at 11:45am. The Pirates reached this stage of the competition after beating Cambridge United on penalties at The Memorial Stadium in the Round Of 32.
Second-half efforts from Kelland Watts and Sullay Kaikai cancelled out Ellis Harrison's brace, but Rovers won 4-2 on penalties, with Kamil Conteh converting the decisive spot-kick.
The Round Of 16 in the Vertu Trophy is still regionalised, meaning teams will be drawn against an opponent in their respective region. As a result, the Gas will play home or away against either AFC Wimbledon, Luton Town, Northampton Town, Plymouth Argyle, Swindon Town, Walsall or the winner of Colchester United v West Ham United U21.
Vertu Trophy Round Of 16 ties are to take place week commencing January 12 2026.
