Bristol Rovers is delighted to welcome Her Game Too to The Memorial Stadium for this Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Crewe Alexandra.
Rovers was the first English Football League club to partner with Her Game Too when the campaign launched in summer 2021 and will reaffirm our commitment to true equality in football with this Saturday’s match our dedicated Her Game Too fixture.
As part of our dedication to the campaign, 200 matchday tickets have been donated to grassroots girls teams for Saturday’s game, while the men’s first team players will wear specially designed t-shirts during their warm-ups.
Her Game Too will be a presence in the Fanzone before the match, with a stall and face painter, and the Her Game Too flag will be waved during the walk-outs. A lap of honour will also be held at half-time.
Bristol Rovers has previously hosted several Her Game Too events, including a First Time Fans experience when 20 women and girls attended their first football match in March 2023 and a watch party for the Women’s World Cup final between England and Spain in August 2023.
