Bristol Rovers is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Michael Reindorf from Cardiff City.
The forward becomes the Club’s fourth acquisition of the 2025 January transfer window and signs on loan from the EFL Championship side until the end of the season.
Reindorf has made four senior appearances for the Bluebirds since joining them in July 2024 and will now continue his development with the Gas.
“I’m very excited,” the 19-year-old said. “Bristol Rovers is a big Club, and I feel like it’s time to show what I am capable of.
"Every weekend the boys go out there and try to play to the best of their abilities to get the result. I feel like being in front of the Memorial Stadium crowd is a big thing and I can’t wait.
"I think I’m quite hard working and I’ll run for the team until the end of the game. I like getting on the ball, I like making things happen and, at the end of the day, I'm a striker and I like scoring goals!"
Head Coach Iñigo Calderón was pleased to welcome Reindorf to the Club.
“I am delighted to welcome Michael to Bristol Rovers,” Calderón said. “Adding another player to our attack was important for us in this window but even more important was making sure we brought in the right sort of player and character.
“Michael is a talented young forward who has shown his ability at youth level, and in the minutes he has earned in the Cardiff first team. We’re excited to have him with us for the remainder of the season.”
Born in London in May 2005, Reindorf spent time in the West Ham United Academy as well as in the youth set-ups at Leyton Orient and Norwich City, before penning his first professional contract with the Canaries in July 2023.

Featuring regularly for Norwich City U18s, Reindorf joined Kettering Town on a short-term loan in February 2024 and then departed the Norfolk side to sign with Cardiff City last summer.
With eight goal involvements - seven scored and one assist - in four matches for Cardiff U21s, Reindorf made his first team debut in the Carabao Cup second round win over Rovers in August 2024.
A full 90 minutes followed for the young attacker in the 5-3 third round defeat to Premier League side Southampton, a match in which he registered an assist, before Reindorf made his EFL Championship debut away to Coventry City at the end of November.
Everyone at Bristol Rovers warmly welcomes Michael to the Club and wishes him every success for his loan spell in the blue-and-white quarters.
