Bristol Rovers Football Club is proud to become the first club in the EFL to install DAME period product dispensers at the Memorial Stadium.
The initiative forms part of the Club’s ongoing partnership with Her Game Too and DAME, and aims to make matchdays at the Memorial Stadium a more welcoming and comfortable experience for all supporters.
Research has found that 78.3 per cent of female fans experience at least some stress or anxiety about not knowing whether period products will be available in stadium bathrooms, while 44.3 per cent said concerns about periods or period products have affected their enjoyment of a match.
By making period products free and readily available within the stadium, Bristol Rovers hopes to remove one of the practical concerns that can affect supporters attending matches.
Mitch Waddon, Head of Media & Engagement at Bristol Rovers, said: “Having DAME period products available within our female bathrooms is a small but significant step in making sure that everyone who comes to the Memorial Stadium feels welcome, comfortable and able to enjoy their matchday experience. Removing some of the uncertainty around access to period products is an important part of that.

The installation is the latest initiative delivered through Bristol Rovers’ partnership with Her Game Too, which aims to promote an inclusive and welcoming environment for all supporters.
