Bristol Rovers have been drawn to play Cheltenham Town, Plymouth Argyle and Tottenham Hotspur U21s in the group stages of the 2025/26 Vertu Trophy.
The Pirates have been placed in Southern Section Group B for the 2025/26 tournament and now know the three teams they will be vying with for a place in the knock-out stages of the competition.
The Gas have been placed in Group B alongside Sky Bet League One side Plymouth Argyle and fellow League Two team Cheltenham Town, with Premier League Category One Academy side Spurs U21s completing the group.
The Vertu Trophy groups will see each team play each other once, either home or away. The Academy side included in each group will play all three of their matches away from home. The top two in each group will then progress into the knock-out stages of the tournament.
In the event of a draw after 90 minutes in any of the group stage fixtures, a penalty shoot-out will follow with the winning team earning an additional point.
The date, time, venue and ticketing details for each Vertu Trophy fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
