A message from our Academy Manager Byron Anthony:
"Good Afternoon,
"This season has seen us introduce the Pirates Pot lottery, and we are looking to reach between 500 and 1000 people signing up. Following the launch in pre-season, we have nearly 400 sign-ups so far, with a minimum of 500 required to get the ‘ball rolling’, excuse the pun.
"Our academy is constantly looking for ways to improve, and the money generated from the lottery will help us increase our equipment across the board as all profits will be donated to us.
"Such improvements would include analysis cameras, supporting each individual's development. We are also looking to secure more GPS pods to allow the younger age groups' physical data to be recorded, and strength & conditioning equipment to further support physical performance.
"Everyone at the academy would like to thank those who have already signed up, and we encourage as many of you who are yet to sign up to please do so, to support our future first-team players."
