After a few seasons of disruption, we are delighted to re-introduce our new 1883 Club ahead of this season's draw, which will take place on May 8th at the End-of-Season Awards.
As presented to the members at their event in February at The Quarters training ground, the Club will have a new look after a period of ‘Refresh – Refocus – Reinvent’
Head of Sales David Bright explained: “We spent time looking at the package to make sure it was relevant for businesses operating in the post-COVID era. We wanted to offer greater flexibility to our members beyond having just one hospitality fixture for 10 guests. The introduction of the per-person discount will allow companies to have more flexibility in their bookings and have a benefit that covers them across the entire season.”
In recent years, the assets available in the famous 1883 Club draw have changed as the commercial model of the club has improved, and the new offering will be no different as the club adds some physical offerings, blended with some new digital opportunities.
David continued: “Even as we’ve seen fans return to the stadiums in large numbers in recent weeks, the club continues to set record viewing figures on the iFollow platform. The new prize of iFollow Digital Partner will give one of our members the opportunity to have the same assets as our kit partners.”
Another change will be that of the Account Manager for the Club, with new recruit Lucy Husband overseeing the 1883 Club and being the point of contact for all bookings and correspondence across the season ahead.
Between them, David and Lucy are planning to re-engage the membership via a series of events in the coming months, with golf days, fixture-release breakfasts and exclusive breakfast and lunch events planned.
As with previous seasons:
- 1883 Draw to take place on 8th May - this will be recorded for members to watch online. All winners will then have their branding installed for the new season.
- Priority booking to members on matchday hospitality and sponsorships on the day the fixtures are released.
- Company logo on 1883 page on the website and in the matchday programme.
- Free corporate room hire, subject to us being able to run them safely*
- A signed Bristol Rovers football
- Opportunity for you to attend our networking events**
*Minimum spend of £100 on food and drink and bookable at least five working days in advance.
**One free place per member per event, additional guests to be charged at the normal rate.
As always, the 1883 Club membership will include places for the End-of-Season awards, taking place on Sunday 8th May.
