Luca joined the Club's Academy in 2014 and has excelled in defence, making his first appearance for the Gas at 17.
There were signs early on in the 2019/20 season that it'd be a big one for young Luca, after he was selected to join the squad on their pre-season trip to Ireland.
His time mixing with the first team would prove valuable, as he made his first-ever competitive debut for the club in September, coming on with half an hour to play in the Leasing.Com trophy against Plymouth Argyle.
From there, Luca regularly travelled with the squad throughout the 2019/20, still at the age of just 17, including being named on the bench for the Gas' away win over Ipswich Town.
Luca enjoyed a stellar 2021/22 season under Joey Barton in League 2 making 29 appearances for the Gas. Luca scored his first goal for the club in February 2022 against Exeter City.
The 2021/22 saw further progression on the international stage for Luca, as he was called up for the Wales U21s squad in May.
