Presentation at yesterday's game
A cheque for £3550 was handed over to the Teenage Cancer Trust at half time during our away game at Forest Green yesterday.The money was raised thanks to the generosity of club members and guests who attended the annual Football Conference Gala Awards Dinner in June at Celtic Manor Hotel.
Bridget Woodard on behalf of the Teenage Cancer Trust accepted the donation from Brian Lee, the Chairman of the Vanarama Conference.
Brian Lee said: "The Teenage Cancer Trust works in a specialist field, responding to needs with first class support, through an excellent service of care to those young people and their families who unfortunately face such difficult times.
“I am honoured to be presenting a financial contribution as a small token of gratitude and esteem from our membership towards the sterling work they undertake in our communities".
