ONE YEAR DEAL FOR PATERSON

25 April 2013

Defender triggers new contract

Jim Paterson has today signed a new one year deal with Bristol Rovers.

The defender trigged a clause in his contract that has earned him another year with the club.

Paterson joined Rovers in January 2012, and secured himself a year deal at the end of that season.

He started his career at Dundee United before moving to Motherwell in 2004. In 2008 Paterson moved south to Plymouth, where he spent three years.

Chairman Nick Higgs said: "I would like to thank Jim for his efforts since he joined us, and I hope that we can now go on to have a successful season with Jim as part of our squad."
