NEW SCREEN SOCCER DVD NOW IN STOCK

23 May 2016

Browner’s Right Foot is the full Dagenham & Redbridge match plus pre-match build-up and post-match celebrations and interviews.

On April 25th 1953, a Geoff Bradford hat-trick inspired Bristol Rovers to a 3-1 victory over Newport County at Eastville, which secured the Third Division South title. In the ensuing 63 years, Rovers have experienced many great moments, boasting some wonderful strikers from Alfie Biggs to Rickie Lambert, but until May 7th 2016, they had never won another promotion in Bristol.

Manager Darrell Clarke knew that a home win against relegated Dagenham & Redbridge was a minimum requirement in order to achieve a top three finish.

Even then, Rovers needed help from elsewhere, something which had rarely been forthcoming in the past.

Should either Accrington Stanley or Oxford United fail to win their final match, a Rovers victory in front of over 11,000 fans at a frenzied Memorial Stadium would secure back-to-back promotions for the first time in the club’s history.

Join the Screen Soccer team for all the pre-match build-up and then relax and enjoy Andy Warren’s unmissable commentary, as he relays the action from the Mem and key games elsewhere, on this 110 minute souvenir DVD.

The scenes on the pitch at the end of a heart-stopping afternoon have never been equalled in Horfield, as Gasheads celebrated the team’s success, and there are impromptu interviews with Mark McChrystal, Matty Taylor, Ollie McBurnie, goalscoring here Lee Brown and jubilant fans, young and old.

All because of Matty Taylor’s shot, off the inside of the post, guided home by Browner’s Right Foot…

The DVD is on sale in Pirate Leisure now at a price of £11.95 for 110 minutes but you can order online by clicking here.
