DARTFORD MATCH PACK

30 January 2015

All you need to know about tomorrow's opponenets!

Bristol Rovers return to action this weekend as they travel to Princes Park to take on Dartford.

Rovers: The men in blue and white are currently unbeaten in 11 away league games and will be looking to extend that positive form in tomorrow's fixture. Rovers currently sit in third place in the Vanarama Conference table eight points behind league leaders Barnet.

Team News: Rovers will be without Ollie Clarke who picked up a knee injury against Woking and won't be ready to return tomorrow.

Marcus' View: "We've had them watched and we know what they are all about.

"It going to be a tough game and we are going to have to assess the conditions and go from there.

"No game is the same and you have to approach them all in different ways but the players we have here are brilliant and they all understand what is needed to get the points.

"It's going to be a good physical game and this squad can adapt and play the type of game that is needed to get the win.

Opposition: Tomorrow's opponents Dartford currently occupy 22nd place in the Vanarama Conference Premier table having gathered 23 points from their 30 games so far this season. The Darts are currently on a bad run of form having lost their last five consecutive games games including a heavy 6-1 loss to Dover in their last league outing. Dartford had a game last weekend at home to Halifax in the Third Round of the FA Trophy drawing 2-2, however, their replay which was scheduled to be on Tuesday was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at Halifax's Shay Stadium.

Dangerman - Harry Crawford: The Darts front man has scored in his last two league outings against Dover and Halifax despite Dartford losing both games increasing his tally this season to six goals. Crawford became Tony Burman’s seventh summer signing rejoining the club having signed originally in the summer of 2012 after his release from Southend United. The Darts front man is currently in his third spell at the club following playing for them in the 2012/13 season before being sold to at the time League Two Barnet in the January. Due to limited opportunities Crawford was loaned back to Dartford for one month in February 2013 when he scored one goal in two appearances.

Last Meeting: Matty Taylor's first half penalty was enough to secure all three points for Rovers at the Memorial Stadium back in October which extended Rovers unbeaten run to eight games.
