THREE TO WATCH: SCUNTHORPE UNITED

24 February 2017

Take a look at the potential threats in the ranks of Saturday's opponents, Scunthorpe United.

#11 - Josh Morris - Midfielder

Scunthorpe United completed the signing of Bradford City midfielder Josh Morris on a free transfer in June 2016.

He penned a three-year contract and reunited with United manager Graham Alexander, who he spent time with at Fleetwood Town during two separate loan spells.

As well as playing on the left side and centre of midfield, he is also capable of playing at left-back and is currently sat second in the SkyBet League One goalscoring charts with 18 goals this term.

#10 - Kevin Van Veen - Striker

Kevin van Veen joined the Irons in January 2015 from FC Oss, from the second division of Dutch football.

The striker scored 16 goals in 20 games for the Dutch club, before he made the move to Scunthorpe where he signed a three-and-a-half year deal.

van Veen has hit the back of the net on 10 occasions in all competitions this season and could be the focal point of the Scunthorpe attack at the Memorial Stadium.

#9 - Paddy Madden - Striker

Former Yeovil Town man Madden joined Scunthorpe in January 2014 for an undisclosed fee.

Prior to the start of the 2016-17 season, he has scored 45 goals in 128 appearances for the Iron and has netted 8 times in the league this season with his last coming in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
