Rovers’ striker Jamie Lucas has returned to National League side Boreham Wood for a third loan spell.
He spent two spells with the club last season, scoring seven goals in 24 league games.
Earlier in his Rovers career Jamie spent time on loan at Gloucester City as well as two loan spells with Weston super Mare.
The Swansea born youngster was actually brought up in Bromsgrove and spent a season with Bristol Rovers Central, an outreach Development Group of the club based in Henley in Arden.
A prolific striker for our youth team, he completed two years as a scholar in the summer of 2014, although he had been offered a pro deal at the end of his first year, following an outstanding season for our U-18 side in 2012/13 when they completed a league and cup double.
He made his Rovers debut in our home game against Rochdale on 21st April 2014, when going on as a late substitute at the Memorial Stadium.
His new loan deal with Boreham Wood takes him up to 28th January 2017 and we wish him every success during his time with them.
