CONNOR ROBERTS HAS RETURNED TO PARENT CLUB SWANSEA CITY

15 December 2016

Defender Connor Roberts has today returned to his parent club, Swansea City.

His loan was due to expire in January but manager Darrell Clarke has allowed him to return before the end of his loan spell, saying; “I would like to place on record my thanks for Connor’s efforts whilst he has been with us and wish him every success for the future.”

Roberts arrived at The Memorial Stadium on 24th August, but first his team opportunities were limited and he started just two league games, at Northampton and MK Dons and three cup ties, the two games against Crawley in the FA Cup and the Checkatrade Trophy tie down at Portsmouth.

The Welsh U-21 International spent the entire 2015/16 season on loan at Yeovil, Town and was named their Player of the Year at the end of the campaign.
